Fantastical Birds have always been there in the world, hiding away in the trees, envelopes, beards, warm igloos etc but it wasn’t until 2008 when they were discovered by the artist Chris Thompson. Nobody knows how they were made but from the look of them they’ve borrowed vintage fabric to keep them warm at night. Chris is based in Studio 1 of the Foxlowe Creative Hub on the top floor of the Foxlowe Arts Centre.
