David creates both thrown and press moulded pottery. Inspired by the wilderness of the Staffordshire Moorlands and Scandinavia. Creating a rugged nordic aesthetic with tints to English and Nordic folklore. He uses a variety of gritty dark grogged clay bodies as a base. Decorated using a selection of hand made slips & glazes and then decorates the pottery using sgraffito technique or objects found in nature.
