ABOUT DEBORAH CALLADINE-JONES ART
I’ve always loved Art and of course it was my favourite subject at school! I went on to study BSC (hons) Textile Design followed by a one year PGCE. My chosen career as a Teacher of Art & Design allowed me to carry on producing my own Art and at the same time helping others to achieve their potential in Art and creativity.
More recently I have worked part -time at Peak Wildlife Park as I love to study animals and their behaviour patterns. Recently, I have tried to capture their individual personalities through my observational drawings and paintings.
The tactile nature of my work can be seen in my animal paintings with emphasis on Texture ,Tones & Colour to capture the fur, feathers or scales.
PET PORTRAITS:
Many people love their own animals past and present and love to have a memory of them produced on canvas in Acrylic paints. I produce commissions by working from photographs of client’s dogs, cats, horses or any chosen animal. I work in Acrylic paints on a variety of different size canvases.
LANDSCAPE & FLORAL ART
In my spare time I love to walk in the Staffordshire Moorlands and The Peak District. This inspires my Landscape paintings, along with the woods along the Churnet valley and the flowers in both the wild and in my garden.
Most of my paintings are completed in my own studio space at home even if I start off by producing drawings whilst out and about.
