Fiona is a printer and maker based in Leek, Staffordshire. Her studio used to be an old Ginger Beer Factory and is a lovely old building with stone carved bottles above the yard door and creaky steps up to her studio space. She creates colourful and happy designs and turn them into gifts, home accessories and original artworks. Everything is designed and made by hand by Fiona. Her work features lots of colour, pattern, people and animals which often bring a smile to your face, they are, fun, quirky and a little bit different. She works with a number of different print processes including screen printing, collagraph prints and Risographs. She likes to print onto a range of different surfaces including paper, fabric and wood. Most of her work is created in small runs and limited editions – some are even one offs – so you have to grab them when you see them. Fiona also runs workshops in screen printing, print making and drawing as well as offering mentoring to creatives and small business owners.
