Nicky has worked in interiors for almost 2 decades working as an interior decorator creating specialist paint finishes for walls and furniture. She has a great eye for colour and has advised many customers on paint colours and fabrics. She still produces one off pieces of decorative hand painted furniture for her shop in Leek, as well as showcasing one off restored and reupholstered vintage chairs. Nicky enjoys sourcing and curating a thoughtful collection of handmade, sustainable and well-designed products for the home including textiles and pottery. You will also find the ‘Ette Range’ a small batch collection of mid-century inspired furniture, including footstools, side tables and benches designed and made in Leek in collaboration with local cabinet maker Jacob Littlejones.

Nicky will be demonstrating a range of specialist paint finishes suitable for furniture, on samples boards. She will be using Edward Bulmer Natural Paint colours and will introduce folks to the tools to use and the materials needed to come up with a range of decorative effects to try out at home.
