Jo Turner 2026

Jo makes stained glass panels and useful objects with with an emphasis on clean lines and block
colours with a simplicity that is intended to instil thoughtfulness. Living in the moorland region of
Derbyshire, inspiration is taken from the rugged terrain as well as village life. The practice of
minimalism Jo uses is extended in reusing and repurposing old glass where possible.

Describe what you will be demonstrating at the event
I would like to demonstrate the process of making a stained glass window, using traditional methods.
Space required would be a small table where leading up using a jig and traditional tools can be
demonstrated. I will also have examples of pre-made glass and windows in various stages of
completion.
