When casting her ceramics, Meg utilises both natural and waste materials to create texture within her work. From banana peel in pendant lights to petals in petal pots, each waste material allows light to shine through the ceramics, bringing what was once considered waste back to life. More recently, Meg has started using glaze patterns as a new way of adding texture to her work, something which she will be showing at this years Leek Open Studios.
