Ellie is a mixed media illustrator and printmaker, specialising in nature-inspired abstract landscapes, linocut designs, and sketchbooking. Her art reflects her unique view of the world, capturing the vibrant seas of colour and movement found in everyday life. Through her work, Ellie conveys a playful sense of storytelling, often focusing on capturing moments as they happen. Based in the stunning Peak District, much of Ellie’s artwork centres on local heritage, folklore, and natural history. She is currently working on an exciting project that features all of the UK’s national parks.

Ellie will be demonstrating her mixed media art practice using watercolours, pastels, crayons, ink and pencils to create additions to my National Park series – focusing on the Peak District for this particular event as it will encourage talk and celebration of our local heritage that is so close to the heart of Leek.
