Ellie is a mixed media illustrator and printmaker. She makes handmade mixed media art prints based
around the UK National Parks, linocut prints, greetings cards, stickers, notebooks and storybook
illustration prints. Her art reflects her unique view of the world, capturing the vibrant colours and
movements of every day life in nature, real and fantastical. Her brand’s message through The Bug
Club is to find the little joys in life and to appreciate all the beautiful things nature gives us through
creativity and play. The aim of her artwork is to bring joy, hope, connection and peace, to ground you
into believing in nature, magic, whimsy and the possibility of anything!
Describe what you will be demonstrating at the event
I will be demonstrating live mixed media painting with watercolours, gouache and oil pastel crayons. I
will bring my sketchbooks as a demonstration of how important play is within the process of creating.
