I am Jo, a free motion textile artist, based in the very beautiful market and textile town of Leek. I was trained in multi media textiles as Loughborough university, before going in to train as a secondary school teacher in art, design and textiles. A few years ago I took the plunge and went self employed focusing in my little business ‘Jo-Bo Designs’ I feel very fortunate to be able to do what I do, and love being able to sew everyday!

I run workshops/parties/talks so I still get chance to encourage and hopefully inspire others to get creative. I take my inspirations from things around us, my work varies from floral pieces to commissions specific to people’s requirements.
